Scheduling a wipe
Open Wipe Management in the Center and create a schedule:
- One-time on a given date, or recurring weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
- The time is always in your server's timezone.
- Shutdown timer: the server shuts down a set number of minutes before the wipe to warn players.
- Auto-restart after the wipe.
On Conan Exiles and Soulmask, a save template lets you keep part of the world. Leave it empty for a full wipe. On Rust, choose between a map wipe and a full wipe (see the Rust guide).
Instant wipe shuts the server down, deletes the game world and starts a fresh season right away. The server restarts automatically when it is done.
Before you schedule
- Pick a time when few players are online, in your server timezone.
- Announce the date in advance on Discord and in your server description.
- On Conan Exiles and Soulmask, keep regular game backups on: the setup wizard proposes 4 backups, one every hour, and you can change it in the server settings.
- On Rust, the files removed by a wipe are backed up before deletion.
If something goes wrong after a wipe, you can still restart the server or restore a backup from the machine.
Announcements
Players see the countdown to the next wipe on your Portal page. If the Discord bot is linked, a wipe announcement channel keeps your community informed.
Season archive
Each wipe closes a season. Season History keeps the archived statistics and leaderboards of past seasons. Deleting a season removes its archived stats for good.
Scheduled restarts
In the server settings, add restarts at a fixed time each day, before raid time or after raid time. Players are warned in game 10, 5 and 2 minutes before each restart.
Wipe and season automation is part of the Pro plan.
