Setting up a Soulmask server
Add the server from Admin, Hosts. The wizard proposes port 8777 for the game, 27015 for the Steam query and 19000 for RCON, and lets you pick PvP, PvE or PvE-Conflict. A fresh install downloads about 25 GB.
Set an RCON password. Without it, RCON stays disabled and the live console, messages and item delivery are not available.
What is supported today
Servitium reads the Soulmask server log to follow what happens in your world:
- Player connections and disconnections.
- Knockdowns and kills.
- Clan events: created, joined, left, promoted, kicked, renamed, disbanded.
- Destroyed buildings.
- Chat.
From that data you get clan leaderboards, weapon and knockout statistics, raid protection, war declarations, clan management, player levels and wipe templates. The shop has a dedicated Soulmask product editor, and RCON is used for the console, announcements and delivery.
Players, shop and wipes
Players link their character from your Portal page: they enter their exact character name, receive a code and type !register <code> in game chat. They must have played on the server at least once.
Once registered, they get a wallet, can buy from the shop on the Portal or with !buy in chat, request raid protection and appear in the leaderboards. Purchases are delivered over RCON, so the server must be online.
Wipes work like on Conan Exiles: schedule them in Wipe Management and use a save template to keep part of the world. See Wipes and restarts.
Current limits
Servitium follows Soulmask through its server log rather than its save data, so an event is only known once the game writes it to the log. The map is a static image rather than a live tile map.
